[Captain Buddy Oakes]

I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days on the water with an old high school buddy this past week. We had a great time smacking Lake Calcasieu trout and had a chance to dredge up a few old stories between strikes. Most all fish came from oyster reefs on the north end of the lake on live shrimp and soft plastic under a cork. Most schools of working seagulls on the south end were holding smaller specks for the taking.
