Can't find anything on a core. They may have quit making them also. It has just been my experience if a reel doesn't say its approved for salt water it aint. I have 2 revo's and only use for fresh. Bought to use in both but everytime i take in salt I have to pull apart and clean. ABU's used to be made in sweeden and now most are engineered in sweeden and made in china or somewhere and the quality is gone.
