Paul Salvant came down from Baton Rouge with his buddies Girard and Bryan. We loaded up the Bluewave and took off at daybreak. We found small fish at our first stop but within 15-20 minutes the keepers started hitting the K2. The guys put a good lick on the trout using the Matrix Shad Shrimp Creole on a 1/4oz Goldeneye jig head under a cork. The second stop was a point with moving water and that was when the trout were flying into the K2. We tightlined Shrimp Creole and Green Hornet and let it drift in the current line and BAM the trout were surfing. The trout are all over so now is the time to get out and enjoy the great bite.
