Too tired to do a detail report.
Birds diving everywhere. I think the cold front shoved any remaining bait into the larger lakes. The trout were hitting hard and fast. TKO shrimp in clear with red flake under a popping cork. Would not hit without a cork. Tried other lures as well. Nada. They just wanted a cork.
25 trout and 3 reds. The big boy had half his gills tore up on the fight otherwise I would have tagged him and thrown him back.
I don't care how stupid it looks. The jus grab it glove worked well keeping my regular fingerless glove dry. I'm buying another for my fishing partner tomorrow when I stop at Meureaux's.
Tomorrow is opening day for ducks. Avoid the marsh!
