We don't really take designated shark fishing trips, but target them a bit while fishing for bull reds, which is our main fishing interest. That puts us on the beaches and passes most of the time. We're not really targeting a species, just putting a chunk of bait out on a steel leader and seeing what happens. Of course, my boys are interested in landing the bigger ones that have broken off in the past.

Sorry, most of our fishing is either in Cameron or near GI. I would not know where to begin shark fishing near Laffy.
