I smoke but at the same time I also don't like being in a room full of smoke. I do not smoke in my house and if I m around people that don't smoke I'll step off if I need a cig. That being said their is no way in hell big brother should be able to tell a person what they can and can't do with their own property. No I don't buy into the public health BS argument. If you think second hand smoke at a bar is bad for you and you still go then that makes you the one endangering your health not the guy having a beer and a smoke. It's not a public health issue unless it is a place the public has a reasonable obligation to use. DMV, Courthouse, Hospital etc. Places you are required to go to are public health issues. Choosing to go to a bar to have a beer then complaining about the smoke is not a public health issue. You endangered your own health by willfully choosing to go there.
Non smokers affect themselves by willing putting themselves around second hand smoke.
