also this is would be considered a small job so expect to pay more / sqft to get a crew to show up to do it

I was wanting to get a slab poured, just so happens they had a crew pouring a slab for a new house up the street from me. I stopped by when they were finishing it and asked them if they knew anyone who would want to pour a slab and told them what I needed..... they nearly beat each other up trying to get the job. The guy who did it ended up charging me $1 a square foot to dig out an area, form it, finish it and wreck the form. After I paid for concrete, georgia buggy, beer for the crew and labor it was right at $2.15 a square foot, this was back in 07 so I know prices have gone up.
