as a recreation crabber you can have up to 10 traps but personally I think this is just overkill and people raise them on you, commercials in the area cut your floats or steal them thinking you are encroaching on "their" spots so its best to just stick to set nets for crabbing and if you plan to do it often and have freezer space, buy a case of chicken necks (they cost about $10) because buying small packs of necks or wings will costs you that same $10 just get a dozen or two for one trip where buying the case gets you about 150 of them.
