A lot of the time I just leave from there so I don't have to fight the crowds at the public launches. There is a really good launch at Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles for the people wanting to launch out of the Lake Charles area. The only real other option on the East side is Hebert's Marina but ill bet its crowded right now with Cal Point being closed.

Never felt crowded at a Louisiana boat launch, but we fish mostly afternoons.
In Colorado, the boat launches could get crowded when a T storm hit and everyone returned to the launch at the same time.
