Morning bite is great. Seems to slow down in the afternoon. Caught about 25 bass and a white perch. Fish are not all the way in the backs of bays like watermelon bay and and dans bay. Not in far backs of cuts either. Further back I got the worse the bite got. Bite is really good towards the front of the bays and cuts. Want to catch a lot of 1.5lb-2lb bass? Go fish the west back going in watermelon bay when you enter. Caught about a dozen in the first 350yds of bank. Let them all go. Just kept the 3/4lb and 1lb fish. Better eating.
Colors are watermelon red and June bug and black and blue.
