Just read an article with Greg Hackney on wired2fish saying as long as the bass is turned off it's cool. Most of the time he has music on. But he also said if he's fishing shallow enough he doesn't need his sonar he will turn it off bc he thinks the pings effect them. I don't have a stereo in my boat so I don't really have a choice lol
