Crabbing questions
We get up on the weirs and tie line to chicken quarters or legs, and beef melt. Sometimes they want chicken, sometimes they want melt. Pull slow slow and scoop them with the dip net.
I've never used nets, but see people with them every now and then. They take up more space and are more maintenance, a spool of twine and a bucket are very simple, and chances are you have a net on hand if you're out there fishing anyway.
Definitely check the limits wherever you are, some places will allow standard state limits of 12 dozen while others will only allow 5 dozen (Sabine). These limits are per boat/vehicle.
Now is a great time, you can eat like a king soaking lines for a couple hours for crabs and get a couple of reds there for the grill.
