Great night hanging out with Robert Duffy and crew at their camp. We loaded the Bluewave up this morning, and pointed the bow to the trout grounds!! The winds were already howling at 20 knots, but my crew refused to be denied from getting their trout fix! Within two minutes of arriving we had a trout taking a bath on top the Arctic Ice. We made several drifts picking at the trout, until we hit the mother load!! Everyone in the boat was slinging in fish almost every cast, on double rigged Green Hornet Matrix Shad. Then it happened, the anchor came loose with all the wind and that was it. We picked away until the bite went non existent. We moved to plan B and hit the shallows. Our first drift found a goose egg. Made a short move and we had a nice red bathing in the K2. A few more reds would join him and a flounder. Two reds got lucky and broke off to live another day. A great day with a great group of guys. Thanks Robert for the continued business over the past eight years.
