The guys at B and B Outdoors on hwy 171 are a great source of information.
I fish from a Kayak and tend to stay in the shallower parts of the south end of the lake... I have only fished Vernon 6 times in the past 5 weeks and they were all mediocre days at best...I am by no means a tourney fisherman...
I used several Zoom Lizards from 4" to 10" in another brand , watermelon red yielded the best results. I did use my own spinnerbaits with a couple nice 3lbers , I had a twin tail yamamoto grub for a trailer.
Jerk baits only yielded small fish less that 1lb, with one exception.
I used my LTT rig with some very large 11" worms. only caught one bass in about 30 casts and it was maybe 3.5lbs...
