You don't have to Beautiful water you just have to find the best water in the area. The Lee shore is always the best place to start but a good incoming tide can bring in clean water as well. A falling tide can bring Waters from protected areas into the lake also. These strong south winds have virtually stopped the tide from falling in the past week or so. there's a lot of variables to the clean water equation.
