Glad you stuck to your guns!!! Another thing they like to do is close the drawer before you get cash back. The cashier then tells you to wait until she checks out the customer behind you with 2 baskets full so she can open the drawer again.---- you stand there and say 'NO that's not acceptable' and demand a floor manager which is always on break somewhere to open the drawer and get your cash back.
It could have been avoided if the cashier had not been distracted -bull sheeting with someone in the next checkout.
Bottom line---I avoid the place until off peak hours or weekend afternoon.
