Also we plan on targeting black drum, redfish, flounder, and spotted trout; we would appreciate any suggestions on locations to fish as well as tactics for fishing this time of year in Big Lake's various locations. Any and all help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Just check the weather the morning of...if I went off the forecasts I would never make a trip. Every trip this year had T-Storm predicted for the days I went and I've only been chased off the water once. However, Sunday does look like it might be day number 2. As for where to go...get you a Hook and Line map and give it a shot. Might not be a bad idea to buy you some live shrimp to make life a little easier on yourself. Good luck and be safe.
