If it's still a good ride I would keep it. Paying for general service and repairs is cheaper than having a truck note.
We have some customers with some older vehicles that we maintain. If it's still a good vehicle we advise them to continue driving it and maintaining it. Sometimes though the best advice you can give them is to consider investing in a new vehicle. Yeah I won't be making as much $ from them but we are honest about what is best for them and that makes loyal customers. Repeat business keeps the doors open.
