I've got a two-stroke 15hp Johnson tiller from probably 1987 on a 14' alumacraft from probably the same era, which runs great, but to prepare for the worst, what are some basics I should know about fixing it if I get in a jam out in the marsh and some basic parts/tools onboard?
Are there some resources (old manuals) I should look for online or anything?
New to (actually trying to take care of) outboard motors, so any advice will be appreciated, no matter how basic it may seem.
