Can always find fish, even if the water doesn't look so good. The fish that live there eat every day despite the conditions. Sometimes the salinity will shift them into other areas and if it's real fresh up top they will find a place that has a little salt on the bottom and eat shad and shrimp. Yes, they'll get pushed out of some areas by a ton of fresh, and may be closer to the passes or halfway between the passes and mid bay.

We've been catching a lot of trout this year over here in Texas under a totally fresh surface water. Fish have been on the bottom on mid bay reefs in 6-7feet. Sometimes the surface water has been ugly. Now trinity bay has been blown out and has been too fresh and for too long... those that are finding the fish right now are finding them very congregated and it's been an unbelievable year so far. Get out there and go find them, they are there.
