AMEN to both you and Shawn. It is anything but an ego trip when I refer to it as my church. If you dedicated as many hours to your church, you would take ownership and responsibility for it. I take my responsibility seriously. I am not special, any more than the person gifted with Praying, or Giving, Pastoring, Greeting, or Singing. We simply have different ministries. Each is using their God given talents to further His kingdom, NONE of us are special. And here's a news flash, NEITHER ARE YOU! Our Security Team just says, until you can prove your proficiency with a weapon to OUR satisfaction, you will not be allowed to carry in OUR church. Take that any way you want it, criticize it, butcher it, I really don't care at this point. I have tried to explain it as simply as I can. And if you don't think anyone on the team can tell you to put your weapon in your vehicle or leave, shoot me a PM, I'll meet you at church Sunday. You might want to bring enough money for bail.
