IT’S OFFICIAL THE FALL FLOUNDER RUN IS On
An early fall norther moved through 3 or 4 days ago pushing shrimp out of the marsh and spawning some really good bird action on the lake but the really good news is the FLOUNDER RUN IS ON. Good catches of the tasty flat fish can be caught along both sides of the ship channel. The best bait has been anything you can get to the bottom with. Live shrimp along with Gulp, Hackberry Hustlers and just about any plastic bait bounced on the bottom will do. Good catches of trout have been caught in Turner bay and some big tackle busting redfish are coming from the jetties.
