My talon spent the last year or so that I owned in my shed. Broke on me, fully deployed. Had to remove it completely off of the bracket and disconnect the wiring. Never bothered with it again. PowerPole if u want to go that route. Or stickem pole. That's what I've been using, $100. No maintenance required.
