The channel shown is deep...... but as you leave the ship channel, the first 1/4 mile has shallow water on both side. Follow the PVC pipe markers.
Many many years ago..... lots of toxic waste was dumped from the plants into that bayou. Testing shows that the chemicals are still in the ground.
