We bought fresh (dead) shrimp near the docks in Delcambre and some from a marina in Cocodrie a few weeks back. When asked about future availability, one said, "It's about over." and the other said... "It's over." No live bait available.
They said that soon, the only shrimp we'd find were the "$5.95" quick frozen product (QFP?) that come from overseas.
