Default Sheepshead City

Saturday was the day we've all been waiting for to see the trout bite go wide open. Perfect weather on the outside but not as perfect on the inside. Confronted by dirty water and low salinity at every spot, I was not having confidence in finding speckled trout. My customers Nick Hatzis and Cody Jackson were on board today to get a fishing fix and that's what we did. I pointed the Blue Wave to the sheepshead hole and thawed out the bait shrimp. If you never thought sheepshead fishing was a challenge, think again. They are simply not easy to hook! The guys struggled to get the hang of it but low and behold we won. We topped the box off with 27 heads and the whole time they were thinking of how was I going to clean them and how they were going to eat them with all the bones! No worries, I broke out the Rigid Sawzall equipped with the Dexter Russell 9 inch scalloped edge blade and went to work! Easy as pie! They went home happy of course!
