I may be bias ,but I have seen them added to boats and it makes a dramatic difference. Boat builders have kinda stole his idea behind the ultra jack by building boats with a tunnel and adding that "skag" to the tunnel. He stills makes a few ultra jacks on special orders but I think he mainly builds regular jack plates for all the local boat dealers.
