I had Mr Charles , his wife and good friend Mr Jim down from Arkansas for two days of south Louisiana fishing
We started the day off catching trout on a fast bite but it soon died out not long after it started but we were able to get a pile in .
So we moved around picking up a few more. I found some flounder stacked up in the marsh and we wore them out .

Day 2 with Mr Charles group started off with fog thick like pea soup ..
I left real early hoping to get on the trout action just before sunrise but they did not surface like past days . With the fog we had several boats run extremely close to us and pretty much kill any chance of fish coming up and we only boated a few trout so we changed strategy and found huge schools of bull reds and worked them over for a few hours until they were done lol. It was about time for tide to start coming back in so we moved to our flounder hole and boated another load of flounder.

Capt Chris had a father with his two sons .
He was faced with kind of the same situation I was . He started off with a decent trout bite but it was soon killed by boats so he found the 1st big school of bull reds and put those boys to work , Chris actually stayed on a few schools for hours playing catch and release.
