In the middle of summer and when fishing offshore for BIG TROUT.. Live Croaker are the way to go. U can catch a few on plastic, but have witnessed 3-4# coming over side of boat 2 casts from me. While we are throwing plastic. U can catch on plastic, but give me some live croaker everytime.
