I compared the Robalo to the Everglades very closely. Bent Marine had them side by side in their showroom.
The fit and finish on the Everglades was much better than the Robalo but had a 110,000 price tag without all of the options I wanted.
The everglades does not have a casting deck in the front.
The Robalo is a foot wider than the everglades.
In general the Robalo was a much larger boat with more options.
Don't get me wrong I really liked the everglades, that was the boat I originally wanted, but in the end the Robalo was 30K less with more room and options.

>Everglades 243 Center Console
>Robolo 226 Cayman
>Tidewater 2500 Carolina Bay
I am a Tidewater fan simply because I currently own one, but also their customer service is amazing and the price is very reasonable. Their new 2500 Carolina Bay does not ride like a normal Bay Boat, it has a smoother ride more like a deep "V" or Everglades 255 Hybrid.
