I pray that my son at 17 will have more sense than I did when I was younger, that's why I can't help but feel for this young mans family. We all take risk, some more than others. But on the water will surely catch you one day. These young men had no buisness being offshore in that size boat, as the ones who where saved last year by the WLF agent out of Roll over. I get nervous running out of this area in a 22' bay boat to fish the close rigs(inside 10 miles). This area does not see the boat traffic as the waters to the east of our state. We have run out on a weekend and only seen one other vessel all day. We constantly remind guys we see at the launches to be careful, and get the look. Have offered my cell number in case the need help. My 2 cents, I just never want to get that call about family or friend.
