Small boat advice - Hackberry area
I'm always taking the kids and wife out fishing off the bank or at the jetties in Cameron. I have a 16 foot Alumacraft I've wanted to take out around the Hackberry area but am skittish because I don't know the area. Is there a place that any of you would feel safe in a smaller boat? I'm not too concerned with a huge catch, I just want the kids to catch a few things they have never caught. My wife's family used to have a camp on Holly Beach until Rita, after meeting her and hanging out in that area that's about the only place we go......haha.
