Looks like a fungus due to the spots. Post it on Bayou Gardener and see what they say. With all the rain this spring a lot of wilts, rots, and fungus going around. LSU ag has a good article talking about how bad this year has been for tomatoes. I lost 20 tomato plants to Southern Wilt. My plants started wilting then died. The stalks were hollow and brown on the inside. These are pictures of the various stages the plants went through before dying. Basically the plant starves for water and dies. Next year I will begin doing tomatoes dutch bucket hydroponic method. If its a fungus you can use daconel. Spelling is wrong. It is a fungicide. If it is one of the bacteria like I have then all you can do is pull the plant. Some have no cure and you can solarize the soil with plastic to kill it in the first few inches of soil and never till deep again or it will come back to the surface.
