A buddy and I launched at Sam Houston this morning and found some hungry fish. Current was strong on Westfork and stronger on Houston River. Had to leave the TM in constant mode to sit still. They were biting good where clear water dumped into mud. We thew back just as many as we kept and the goggleye were hungry as well.
Water was 78, we had cloud cover , and everything came on weightless or nearly weightless plastics.
Biggest went 1.8lbs
