Default Flooded PI Evacuee's Plan B

Had to evacuate a couple weeks ago due to flooding. After the water kept rising, I pulled out 1 day before the water level rose yet another foot !! So figured it was a good time to go visit my Bro in NC.

Here on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Night Temps. dip down to the low 50-60's F, and mid day low to mid 70's F. I hit the trout streams I had fished last year, and they were "fished out". Peak fishing is April/May. I then took to hours of research on Google, looking for hard to access Trout Streams in remote areas. Amazingly, they were fished out also. Sliding down rocky mountains "head first", is not something I'd recommend. The secret is to fish recently stocked streams, and most Blue Ridge Mountain stocking had ceased in mid June. More research required..... BTW, I've never resorted to fishing (or hunting) guides. Finding dem is the part of the Sport !!

Anyway, located a couple stretches of stream dat had some Brown trout, and bream types. Yesterday lost a jumping 16-18" Brown trout. Let a couple 6"-ers go. Now my challenge is to figure out how to cast ultra light weight lures, 75-100'. Busted my 2nd pole sliding yesterday, again head first, down da mountain.

Cheers..
