just pick out the ones big enough to grab, the rest dissolve to nothing in the grease.
you "usually" see more worms in summer im told, something about feeding habits or something like that because specks get them most often from eating bait fish that have them and when specks primarily feed on shrimp, odds are much lower they will have any worms
