Big lake can humble you. I feel lucky every time I catch a limit. No lie. What helped me was no short cut. Two years of guide trips and tons of hours on the lake. Always forcing myself to try something new and different. Once I find fish in a spot, I beat it to death. There is a reason why they are there and I try to understand why.
