I forgot to put that my hull is a flat bottom. Alweld. I have it on a 6 inch setback jack plate with a 13 pitch power tech prop. Holeshot is better than my old 2 stroke 30 hp. Too end with myself and fishing load is 31 mph. Add another 200 pound guy and it drops to 29.5.

With me, 2 other men and duck hunting gear it pushes the boat 28.5 mph.

I had to put some hook in it to get it to run without bouncing.

Bottom line is if I had the choice of hulls, I would go with the 1552. Honestly it will probably run the same if not better on that size boat
