BL 6/3
Me and a buddy took his boat down to Big Lake on Saturday on a whim. We got there a little after daylight and fished the east side. Water was decent and we managed to pick up a few trout. While running back to Calcasieu Point to avoid a rain shower we saw a few birds working. We stopped and got soaked but managed to pick up a few more. I have never seen birds continue to work in in a steady downpour. We managed to finish the day with 13.
