Default Bl 6-4&5-11

Hit the lake this weekend. Sat morning we caught 19 trout and 3 reds. specksndasurf and my cousin caught most of them on live shrimp and I threw topwater all day and caught 3-4 trout with a few missed blowups. We were registered for shootout and Jordan caught a little over 4lb trout. I figured it wouldn't even be close they prob had some 6s and 7s weighed in, so we just kept fishing past 1pm and didn't go to weigh-in cause we were so worn out. i think he would have been in top 20.

Went back yesterday afternoon and caught 6-7 right before dark on topwater. I had what I'm guessing/hoping a red blow me up last night and rip the treble hook, base, and swivel off my spook and get away.

This morning we were greeted with 15 mph winds. Found some clean water and caught 14 nice trout all on topwater. By 10am we were burnt out and decided to head back to Lafayette so I can get ready for KING JAMES to dominate. Had a good time. Not big numbers but majority of the fish were 2+lb

Cleaned em all this morning when we got back to camp.
