Default best place for fresh shrimp in lake charles

who has the best prices and quality in Lake Charles? been wanting some shrimp spaghetti

No one in Lake Charles has fresh shrimp anymore unless you find a seafood truck. They might have fresh shrimp but my experience is they don't. Hackberry is probably your best bet.

You can get with JT's Seafood. But not sure the quality.
There are several shrimpers who live in Lake Charles and fish out of Cameron.
They will bring you some when they go home on weekends.
Just don't have any numbers to give you while I am offshore.

They are frozen to. They used to have fresh but no mo.

Holly Beach seafood off of hwy 27 in Carlyss may have some fresh I know they do have fresh bait shrimp!

There's is frozen but still a lot more on the fresh side compared to the other places. The only way I know this is I've talked to all the people at these places and they've told me themselves.
