Leeville/Fourchon 10/18-10/20

Made a trip down the bayou for the weekend with some people we had a couple of boats fishing. Friday morning we all fished west side of Leeville and caught probably 400 fish between 2 boats with only 50-60 keepers. Friday afternoon I headed to the Fourchon marsh and caught less numbers but bigger fish. Saturday it rained till 2 so we went out that afternoon and caught 15-20 keepers between 4-7 when it got dark. The 2 other boats on Saturday caught a nice mix of reds and specks in the Leeville marsh. Sunday it was about the same. Pretty good trip had by all, not bad for 10-20 mph winds all weekend. Had a fish fry on Saturday night and still had 6 gallons of fillets to split up at the end. Fish were caught on live bait, tko shrimp under a cork, and even caught a few on top
