Hairout will the swarms of sailcats be back again this year?

what are your predictions on those damn sailcats for this years season?

last year I couldn't hardly get past them to catch any real fish? all my favorite spots had to be abandoned because of them.

it was just so unreal , they were so damn hungry they would chase off the specks to get to my artificial baits.

there were times I felt like giving up because I had to catch 7 or 8 sailcats before I caught a small school trout and there were trips I caught around 40 sailcats and "maybe" 2 or 3 keeper specks.

I don't know why they were so bad but im guessing the oil spill took away their food supply so they swarmed deep inshore looking for food but I hope it was a one time thing and we don't see the numbers of them we did last year.

I never use any form of "meat" live or dead so I can only imagine how bad it was for those using live bait and catching that trash in such numbers.
