I have a 3 bank onboard charger. When i plug it up to charge the middle one makes an awful buzzing noise and lights kind of flicker. Has anyone else had this issue? If so was it a bad connection somewhere or did the unit need replacing? Really scratching my head after doing a few checks.

Bump, anyone have issues before?
I have wire brushed all of the battery terminals and connections. I had some corrosion in my in line fuses but scraped and changed fuses and same results. |

You might try MK tech support, they might give you an idea what to check.

It's a computer and is susceptible to power surge damage. Use a power strip

I only plug to charge the night before i fish. I dont leave it plugged in 24/7. Boat hasnt Been in the water since early fall. After a few months i plugged it in to charge so i could just run it on the trailer and found the problem. So i think its more of a sitting too long issue.

Prob just been sitting too long, need to leave it plugged in and bypass any breakers so it won't lose power during the "fixin" process.
