Default The Burns 4/19/2017

Fished with a friend from 5:30-7:20.
Only caught 10 before heading in.
Then, as the sun was setting, I was gifted with a spun prop from a thick mat of hyacinth that blocked the main canal.
I had plowed through 3 mats of crap, but my prop was no match for #4.
We spent the next 1 hr 40 min going 3mph in the dark from the canal and west on the Intracoastal to the Gibbstown launch.
So, beware of those mats! That stuff is taking over out there. My prediction is that unless something is done to remove the hyacinth, the main entrance canal from the Intracoastal will be unusable in a couple of years, if not sooner.
