Claudes Trailers in New Iberia, NU Tec in Laffy.. Academy has some stuff. If you are doing it yourself?? Use Galvanized nuts and bolts...

academy had some when I did mine but I decided to build my own and weld them to thev trailer. academy had a lot of options. tops trucks in Sulphur has a lot of trailer stuff and so does big red trailers. not sure if u have either in ur area though. make sure and use stainless bolts and spend the extra money when u think u should so u don't have to do it again

I second to comment about using Galvanized bolts.
Most Stainless steel sold in stores is a 304 grade. These will rust after a while. You have to buy a 316 grade [or higher] to keep them from rusting. Galvanized bolts of supports will not rust for many years ..... unless the coating gets damaged. |
