Default Power Pole

Looking at getting a power pole installed. I have a 19' Boston Whaler thats pretty heavy duty. Do u think I could get away with getting a Sportsman 8 ft? Or would I need to step it up to a Pro? I want an 8ft regardless. I see the Sportsman and Pro have diff pumps but whats the big difference?
Thanks

Montauk 17 told me that he has installed some sportsmans and they looked to be much more cheaply made than the pros

For that heavy boat you need the pro model, trust me. I dont think I would even put the sportsman model on my 17' whaler

Not cheap man, honestly we don't push them too hard cause there a pain depending on the boat. If you want to save some money and know a little about how a 12v system works you can handle it. Mounting the power pole is super easy, its just to find a good spot to mount the pump. The pump takes up about the same space as a group 24 battery. The 8' pro model sells for about 1500 give or take, then you need a 180.00 mounting plate if you dont want to drill holes in the boat. And the wireless remote is around 300.
