Cheers Trout Slam, Easy as it Gets 10-24-13

Grady Petry, Darren Dubois, Kevin Foret, and Bryan Satchez with PECI joined me today for a incredible trout slam. Our first stop found slack tide and no fish, we made a move further West and it was on. Birds diving, shrimp jumping, and yellow mouths everycast. It didn't take long to fill the K2 up with everyone on board reeling them in everycast. Double rigged Matrix Shad with a slow retrieve did the damage as they do every single day in Dularge. No live bait needed as Matrix Shad gets it done like no others!! The bite is off the charts as it was easy as it gets today. A great time was had by all and the guys with PECI cannot wait till their next trip. Plenty laughs, fun, and many memories were made. We even had a comic show at the lodge while cleaning fish with one of the locals who claimed to be from New York City!!!! Thanks again guys as it just doesn't get any better!!

Lost Lake, Rice Bayou, and Blue Hammock areas have been producing extremely well. Good reports from lake Mechant and Lake Decade also. Good luck out there.
