Default Henderson 4/24

Fished today with Shallow Runner at Henderson. There was just a little hazing going on....lmao. In the am we caught fish for fish. Then Shallow put a 10 foot rod hanging off the front of the boat at about 4 to 6ft and it was deadly on the fish. That rod out fished both of us. We ended up with 43 crappie. Would of been more but we lost a bunch at the boat. I am bringing a net next trip. In the am we were catching on marabou jigs with a red head, black body, and chartreuse tail. In the pm they wanted 2in black curly tail shad assassins. The fish were in 10ft of water at 4 ft deep. We caught with and without corks. The fishing was slow till mid day. We headed in at 2pm when the fishing was the best.

Hazing, who was hazing? I had a great time and it will not be our last trip together. Don't let him bluff you guys he can hold his own behind a rod.

Shallow I fried up a mess of them tonight. I took mustard, egg, southern seasoning, and Zatarans lemon pepper fish fry and pan fried them crispy.
Made a remulade sauce and cooked some Glory string beans and potatoes. My boys ate almost all that fish. Got T dawg it was good.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335329539.270294.jpgI did too but I used the conventional method, Zatarans fish fry and hot grease. Look at her face and you can tell it was good lol.
