Cheers Dularge Trout 5-12-16

Al Reaux and crew was back with me today. Our first stop was slower than I had expected. The water was stained and the bite was slow. The fish were spread out and the bite was sporadic. After putting 30 fish in the K2, we made a short move. We got on a quick bite, but most of the fish were 11 inches (time to go!!). After moving locations it was on!!! The big trout were schooled up and hungry, hitting our double rigged Matrix Shad hard. We had them coming in almost every cast for a good thirty plus minutes before the bite played out. We moved around picking at them, then my crew threw in the towel. No full limits today, but a box of solid fish. No live bait was harmed in the catching of all our fish. Good times as always with these guys, thanks.

Big thanks to Capt K Labat for running the second boat with the crew.
